I don't think she is saying go back all the way to the Village but just somewhere with more trees. For me, I really don't care to go back north because I'm here for blood n' action and I ain't getting any at the moment! Let's stop arguing over trees!

Patrol Camp

Agreed. Krusten we are going to have to sit out here for a week at any rate. We might be wise to now where their fires burn.. The trees are just for fire wood cook or keep wolves at bay.


Post the group looks and find the best spot in these meager surrounding for a camp. Once found what wood that can be found is piled into the wagon and camp readied.

Two will keep watch from the tree fro incoming activity and the rest will sleep in the wagon. Shifts tart at 11:00 pm and switch in 3 hours.

A fire will be made and dummies set around the fire in a fashion to appear to be sleeping there. Klar and Beowolf first shift, the rest on second.

Page 20 Patrol Camp

Good post and good response from the Gm

Since it is only 7 pm we all are up. With two of us in the wagon we can prepare to eat. I am one in the wagon I would say krusten is in the wagon too. Beowulf the wolves are approaching it seems. We may see blood on your sword soon.

Ok Beowolf I and Cirdan need to take post on equal spaced direction.

We can dig in a bit say 20 to 30 inch hollows allow us to advoid huge arrow attacks. Be able to jump out of in wolf attack.

Dry rations are taken by all and Klar and Krusten take to cover in the Wagon.

Southerly direction lies kalfie ad north westerly Beowolf and to the north Easterly Cirdan. They clean out shallow hollows 20 inch deep with the dirt dug placed to add protection in the direction facing away from the wagon.

All have the melee weapons at ready access and the projectile weapons as well (slings for 3 and Klar and Kalfie with arrow and Bow). Kalfie will leave his axe in the wagon and use his two handed sword.

I expect the wolves are not related to the thieves but we are going to let them know we are here by the end of the night. That means a better campsite tomorrow night. Do we head south circle then take back north each night? I think we need to find a nice defend able place in the rocks not a cave but an out crop. Lots of places to hide and shoot the enemy and retreat if required.

Yes that is what I was thinking in the earlier post when I say tomorrow we head south with Krakyn and myself riding out away on each side of the wagon but keeping the wagon in site looking for a more defensible spot to make out main camp. At least get farther south so we can have time to maybe build up an are where we are closer in site to the mountains and be able to see what is going on down there.

The post sounds good lets go with it.

Whatever you do I will be in the wagon, inside my blanket, with my head inside a book called, "How To Get Warriors To Fight For You" by Krusten. After that, if I happen to hear a growl or two I may take a few shots at a wolf if I see one, but can't promise I won't be a clutz and hit you instead.

I forgot to say that we need to post quicker. I'll check back in a couple of hours to hopefully see a battle in progress (crosses fingers, knocks on wood, makes the sign of the cross).
