Camp Patrol - Page 41

I say we turn the wagon over where we are at present and have them come to us. We can be set up and be prepared to meet them. What says the rest of you?

Someone say "surrounded"? If we are in the middle of the plains with no trees to protect us then we are like an open target. One wagon isn't going to protect us much and from what I read it sounds like a really BIG army is coming after us. We did too much walking up and down giving them a chance to size us up I think.

Sounds like you might be right as If it was smaller I think we would have seen them by now. I thought we were a lot closer then we are to the mountains.

I will go with what ever you think . I do not think dumping the wagon is going to help much be better under it. Klar and I could ride still and keep shooting the best we can.

would we have been better to turn north? Either way we are a long ways away. We could stop and dig under the wagon a low trench give opportunity to shoot and not be shot not sure how to use sling under those conditions though. Bows either. Hold side ways and shoot as they are short bows.

Page 41 Patrol Camp

Turn and head north as we make for the trees. Beowulf can be in back with sling and stones as you and I ride next to the wagon shooting arrows. When they get close enough we can switch to melee weapons. I think this will help protect Krusten as much as possible. We should not push the wagon hard though as we do not want to stress the horses. They are going to catch us but just how soon and how many can we take out before they catch us?

I think we are dead we are going to be overrun before we can even meet the nearest trees. Run like hell to the north and if they get too close stand and fight like men.

I think we can still ride towards the mountains cause there is a better chance of getting cover or at least if we can put the mountains to our back then we won't be surrounded. Maybe we might lose them if there is a small chance that they are not actually coming after us but going somewhere else. *crosses fingers, touches wood, makes sign of the cross*.

I think either way we are doomed to being over ran, SO north it is sorry Krusten.

The group will head to either the trees or mountain which ever is closest.

Use this if the trees are closer, either wise we continue as planned.

Turn and head north as we make for the trees.


In either case they will goes as stated below to the point where the wagon can be dumped (if enough time on its side close to the mountain to make a better barricade.)

Beowulf can be in back with sling and stones as Kalfie and Klar ride next to the wagon shooting arrows. When they get close enough all can switch to melee weapons. To help protect Krusten as much as possible.
We should will not over push the wagon hard though as we do not want to overstress the horse.
