Camp Patrol - Page 44

The only one I know who can give us any info on these parks is scout. HE already gave info to Kalfie. Kalfie knows this area as he was here before. I think maybe a trip into town to see if we can find one or two others to join us may be worthwhile. I think we will need more supplies soon.

Before going back to the village I say we try to get some of them to ride out after us and lead them into a trap. This may produce us with a injured captive we can gather more info out of. If we go back with more info we may get more help. I think going back now without info is a mistake and could lower our reputations.

Bewolf and Klar take watch from a point they can see the farthest from while Krusten and Kalfie tend to the horses needs.

Once done they decide to Head to East City to see what they can find out, from the locals on the activities and more so frequency of these wagon runs.

Klar post as you see fit I am going to be hard pressed to get back soon.

Night time runs in the mouth if you take the time to read you will see they ended with the group being chased. Wolves did not bug them but the volley of arrows did.

Almost every adventure has involved this place in some form so check them out for what they offer. Perhaps one of you will see something I missed.

Klar needs to post since Krakyn isn't going to be around. I still say we head back and get some good intel on this rather than run around looking like a target.

I am for setting in closer to the pass. Dig some traps for them and then get ready to meet an attack. We send a person into the pass to get them to give chase. If we can get them out of the pass into a waiting attack we should be able to hurt them some. We can use the wagon as cover for an attack. Making wolf and horse traps to rid them of mounts and dogs can prove useful for us. Plus staying here to make sure NO supplies come into their area can prove helpful to our cause.

After resting the horses and watering them the group heads back to k8. As they go they will try and note if any rock formations had moved.(I ponder if we cam e upon an opening or not. This would be a spot for the lone adventurer to look closer)

There they replenish the water and check the animal traps. Once the horses are well rested and the wagon fortified(please add details here) with Green limbs from the trees so as to make walls they can leave lying in the bottom of the wagon and pull them up and placed as required.

They then head back to the (was it I11) deaths mouth 2 miles out from it close to the mountains. There they intend to set camp and fortifications in the form of traps.

The traps will be focused on the south edge and consist of 10 foot pits with stakes in the bottom.

The leading edge of each trapped marked so that the group knows where it is.

Once done they will prepare for the night and dig pits to hide in need the fire. Dumbs will be set the best they can nearer to the fire so as to make it look like they sleep there.

They hope a supply wagon will come this way as it will be set so the main wagon passage can be seen and easily monitored. Preferable right near it.

The next day pits to the north will be set also and marked similarly. Once completed Klar and Kalfie will make a water run if required and check the traps.

We could eat some of those chickens you have in you stage there also Klar.

Lets have a vote on this and if not someone can roll a die if its a tie. I say we head back to the town and get some proper info about the place so we can get directly on the inside.
