Boyfriend Ditched Me - I'm Depressed

So I met this guy some years ago. At the time he was recently divorced and looking to start over - he found me and we hit it off well. After awhile things seemed like they were going really well and we would be together forever and then all of a sudden he surprises me with wanting to go separate ways. I can't shake off how depressed I am at the moment. Please help.
