I have never really thought about the race of a Comic Character before, but I do like the modern Green Lantern featured on Justice League, he is very calm and collective, not given to rash judgements like the others on the League.

I always like powerman, especially when teamed up with iron fist. Iron Fist was the calm collected one, but Powerman was brash, angry, and strong! He would be the driving force when all was against them and the odds seemed impossible to over come. His absolute refusal to accept defeat made him an awesome force to be reckoned with.
