Dominoes are rectangular game pieces made of ceramic or wood, marked in halves, with numbers as high as 12 on each half. There are many, many different ways to play -- our family favorite is called Chicken Foot -- very fun, competitive, and even my 6-yr-old can play to win.
In holland we have domino d day. Some people set a lot of plastic domino pieces
and build many cool thinks off the domino pieces and then when domino d day comes they touch one domino piece and that domino piece touches another one so they all will fall. it takes about an our before they all are fallen. And if enough pieces fall we will have the new world record, then the chinese or japanese break the record and the the next year we will break the record.
My 16 year old brother loves it he a real fan of domino and build a lot thing with domino.
I have never played 5's and 3's, but I played chicken foot with my grandmother growing up. In fact, it wasn't until highschool when I learned that there was a different way to play. I'm not that good, and thus don't play much, but I like it and will play occassionally.
