The LDS explanation of the Bible story: Following The LORD's Directive and its related deliberated characteristics Following the LORD's directive, Jeremiah puts himself in bonds and a yoke. He relates that the LORD has given Nebuchadnezzar the land until his time comes. Hananiah breaks Jeremiah's yoke and prophesies the opposite message. 27:1 can be Discussed in this Thread.
NOTE: There may also be an alternate version to the KJV of this Bible story based on the Joseph Smith translation of the Bible.
