Here in Trinidad and Tobago there are many kind of insects, I found this one by my gallery today. I don't know much about insects so if anyone can tell me what it is I would appreciate it.

I believe that this insect is a lady-bird with colors that is rare I think, because I have seen many lady-birds that have the same look as this one only except for the white and orange color.

There's something similar to that at my mom's house, in the countryside. I don't know if is the same insect but is very similar. It is seasonal: they are like tree bugs. They feed on leaves and usually in spring there's tons of them. Is it hard and likes to hit the windows producing a "Thump" Sound?
