This is the first time I have taken the time to join an organization such as this. Why now? Probably because the invitation was made to me directly by some respectable friends from my church here in Trinidad, in fact, the very creators of this website. I feel proud to know them, and I also wanted to show my support of what seems to be a useful and potentially life-changing activity.
What do I wish to get out of this? I'm not quite sure as yet. I suppose it is quite out of character for me to have joined to begin with, as I am the type of person who has little time for little else but my books and sleep. I suppose if I can find one or two persons who have common interests, and with whom I can share my views & experiences, and who can give me a good, clean, argument here and there, then I would have accomplished something.
Without getting too personal, I can provide a little information about myself. I am a student in Trinidad, in my mid-twenties, an LDS (and darned proud to say so), with my roots planted in the Parish of St. Michael, Barbados (Gem of the C'bean)
I enjoy biological studies (to be EXTREMELY general), and will spend the rest of my life in a constant, but exciting mode of studying and practicing what I learn in and out of school time.
I suppose that's more than enough information to join this thing, eh?
