As a Journalist, I fully support the decision of this Danish newspaper as well as other European ones who decided to reprint the cartoon. Now let me state that I respect the Muslims right to protest because they may see this as an insult to their Religion, but to kill? Now that's beyond me.

I think a great way to deal with this is everyone that can post similar cartoons all over. These guys are trying to focus on a small number of people but they can't kill everyone for it. If a lot of people made such comics what could they do?
That said I think it is a shame that these people are so concerned with their image this way. That doesn't show a hole lot of enlightenment to me. If they were really secure in their religion they would not be threatening people with death for slandering them. This is the act of a bully who wants to eliminate opposition.
It is the act of a people who are so concerned with the image of their religion they would resort to killing someone to preserve it. Any person with an ounce of common sense can tell you this is not in any way an enlightened reaction, but one of anger and hatred.
