A topic that has been mentioned in my social problems class is a person's right to live...and die. We often times talk about murderers taking away a person's right to live. With the situation of Terri Schiavo this became an inreasingly popular question to be heard around.
Does a person have the right to die? Do they have the right to seek aid in helping the die? (I.e., assisted suicide.) Is this becoming rather excepted in our society and culture? Or, do you think in your particular culture, is it even addressed?
