Wendy Fitzwilliam wearing many hats
It's 1.45 p.m., a hot Wednesday afternoon and former Ms Universe, Wendy Fitzwilliams is as busy as a bee. Two meetings down, several to go, a couple of business calls returned amidst frequent updates from her secretary - Fitzwilliam, a qualified lawyer, has completed in a half day what many accomplish in one week. You're probably wondering - so much work for a Ms Trinidad and Tobago, after all it's just modelling, endorsements and cocktails, right. Ref. Source 7

Comments: Since I have come to know Wendy Fitzwilliams she has and will always be an inspiration to those looking on, regardless of what others may think of her. It was her choice to have a child out of wed luck, just like it was her choice to answer the question (at the 98 Miss Universe)with the response she gave. To those who criticize; look at the choices that you made in your life, then at Wendy's. The major difference she got to travel the world. where have you been? I now and will always love Wendy Fitzwilliams. congrats on your baby.

Nazer, I really don't understand your point. Yes, obviously it was her choice to have a child out of wedlock, your point? Also about your comparison, many people have traveled/travel to other countries in the world, again your point? Yes, traveling open your mind in many ways but values remains if you are well grounded.
There was a time when I did have a great deal of respect for Ms Wendy Fitzwilliams, but I have to question her judgement in revealing to convent girls, about her pregnancy. There is a time and a place for everything. If you are representing a company, (I think she was selected by Guardian Life as a motivational speaker) why on earth would she choose a school to divulge something so personal? Roll Eyes Maybe it was the hormones? Many speculated that a reporter in Trinidad had the story on her affair with the former Jamaican Senator, David Panton and was about to print it, so she decided to reveal her exciting news first. Who knows? Only in this instance, I have to question her intelligence. She should have went to the press, if she wanted the whole world to know about her pregnancy. Just my opinion!
