The last couple of times I went through Vegas (last October and again in January of this year) you can see from the highway how they are growing by leaps and bounds! It's like a ripple in a pond, an ever-widening circle of growth. Amazing. It's happening all over the Southwest US, frankly, and Las Vegas is no exception.

So, as the article points out, they will be subject to the "cooling" of the housing furor that has been ongoing for the past 3 or 4 years as will the rest of the Southwest region.
