It is important to remember that, yes some uniformed men and women abuse their position of authority, but it does not give anyone the right to disrespect the police or other authority figures. People are far too disrespectful of the people who are employed to protect them. These are some of the most-scrutinized people at their jobs that exist. When they cross the line, there is often ample evidence against them, and seldom do they walk away unscathed from any oversights. Of course there are exceptions. But when someone gets hurt when they disobey a police officer, I seldom feel sorry for them.

These videos show that while most incidents do surround a lack of compliance on the part of the suspect there are cases where law enforcement is excessive to the point of being criminal. There may be a wider problem than we thought but because of mobile video its now becoming public.
