Crix is the best. You can't be a true Trinidadian and not know or of tasted Crix. The best is Crix with cheese. Very good as a light snack in between meals.

Crix is one of the crackers that I like to try sometimes and at least it is less expensive than the other brands versions in some stores in Trinidad. Yes it is a light snack between meals and it is bland as well. The taste is very plain and it is great for combinations with other foods like cheese, peanut butter, etc.

I just bought some Crix biscuits but the whole wheat variety. I personally find the original is nice only to eat with cheese but everybody in my family loves the whole wheat and it sometimes becomes used up very quickly in my family.

Breakfast therefore has become quite expensive in my family since you must have a bread option as well. We buy bread every two days and the Bermudez crix every 2-3 days or so. That's $14 per day for just part of the breakfast.

Cagel, I like the wheat one as well but the one I really love is the multi-grain Crix, I like to have a bite and feel all those little seeds, they are very addicting.

Crix is nice but getting more expensive each year. Just think a whole wheat Crix is more expensive than a loaf of whole wheat bread, that shouldn't be.
