'Tweet' breaks rule when added to oxford Dictionary
In a further sign technology is changing the way we speak, the social networking term 'tweet" has entered the English Oxford Dictionary for the first time. Ref. Source 1
I don't understand the procedure on how certain words make it to the Oxford Dictionary. Is it like we just tend to accept a word because it has assimilated enough in our every day talk and culture?
