Maybe you should put in some rather blatant opportunities for people to request information about booking the group. I would also suggest that you work with the group to get some DVDs available for sale.

I think that there should be some definite selling on any website like this. I don't know enough about them to know what they have to sell, but they should be using the website to sell.

Well, bookings for them is done mostly by referral because they are already very popular. They have made their name in Bollywood, locally, the US and other parts of the world. They will even be in Germany for the World Cup 2006.

The DVD is an idea I could probably propose to them, but I only get what I make from the actual site, so in other words if they get bookings or sell DVDs I would not get anything. I only get from direct ads, hence you see more emphasis on that.

The site is only at 20% now, I am having a hard time getting the PR / group to give me info because everyone is always so busy, but as they do I will be updating here.

So, if they created a CD, or a group of CDs, you could sell them through the site, and get some direct profits. Right?

Make sure that there is a link to whoever does the bookings. It seems to me that the more business you are able to direct their way, the more likely they are to recommend you to other people.

Obviously, a lot more information about each dancer would be very helpful, along with pictures of each of them separately. I realize from your 20% finished comment that this is probably in the works.

Isn't there still some sort of Amazon.com link program? So, if there are books, CDs, or anything else that Amazon has about their type of dancing, can't you provide links and information about them, thus earning some extra money?

Anyway, I like the site. I hope that you are able to get a lot of referrals from it, as well as make some good money from it.

Well, basically I am the tech guy for the group, so if a CD/DVD came out it would most likely be my push. I may just run with that idea if I can get sponsors for the site first. I really have not marketed it much because the site is incomplete and getting information from them is a slow progress. Yes, profiles, pics and more will come soon... thanks for your feedback.

Large Update

Many photos have been added and can be found via the Events section under 'Dancers'. I have also started to add various profiles, but because a page needs to be created for each one - those will come a bit later. Hopefully, a visit from someone in the group to clarify which names go with current faces will help in getting more text related content on the site.

You will notice that profiles are slowly being created as I get time. Attached to these profiles will of course be an accompanying Thread in which fans and well wishers can post comments and a static page with their photo and stats.

I have been telling them to do that for a long time. Only last month Michael passed by my home with Reenie to see the site for the first time, I looked at his card and insisted, that it should have the site listed. The main problem is the head honchos are not internet savvy (save maybe for Reenie), so it will take awhile for the concept to come to fruition with them.

On another note the site ranks high in the Search Engines, especially Google.
