Tanis is surprised by the order, "Why yes! Thank you so much sir, I will bring over your prime cuts soon and be sure to have a delivery for you weekly!" Excited by this sale he starts to slice his latest catch and readies his equipment to go hunting soon.
Hunter sets out to hunt again to fulfill the blacksmiths order. He decides to go to a different part of the surrounding forest as the stock did not come as often as he hoped. Before that he would signal the blacksmith.
Tanis finds himself whistling a tune today on his way to the forest. The blacksmith's coin has made his day. He just hopes to live up to the expectations by getting good lean meat.
After finding a good spot he sets himself up in the bushes to look for awhile. The nearby stream should attract something good enough to take back to the village and the blacksmith.
This might seriously take awhile Tanis think as his eyes droop a bit from the boredom of waiting for a moose or deer to come along. He thinks back to one time where he waited an entire day for something to come along and it was only a wild hog!
Tanis' thoughts run on how the fortune teller told him about the omen. He still did not want to believe it but he was always raised to believe that such women could see the future. Still he wasn't sure. He kept watch and waited.
The bushes begin to separate, there he is... A great moose, that will be a good catch! He gets ready and aims. He fires a shot and the beast runs off.
"Shoot! Maybe it wasn't a good shot."
Tanis gives chase and then follows it to a small cliff where it is inevitably trapped by the mountain. He fires another arrow and the beast falls to the ground.
