"Those will do nicely. I hope that it can enable me to take the next beast down without almost losing my life in the process..." Says Dante while shaking his head at what happened near the cliff not too long ago.
After putting them away he goes back to doing what he normally does during the day.
Tanis cuts up some of the left over meat into very thin strips. Tanis adds some of the herbs he collected while on his last hunt. He heats and dries it so that it can preserved and eaten when he goes hunting again.
"This will do nicely" He says with a sigh. Tanis takes the strips to a special cupboard he built, one that uses just for this purpose while keeping insects and other hungry creatures from getting into.
Tanis hears shouting. He goes over to the window and looks out to see where the noise is coming from. He is surprised to see the fortune teller talking about something bad happening. He looks at her for awhile and then when she goes within her castle he takes to his chair wondering if there is something more to it - some scam like the misfortune she told him.
Tanis gets up again, he peers out the window as he hears the talk between villagers about what the fortuneteller just said. He listens keenly without saying anything or getting involved.
After not seeing the fortune teller for awhile after her doom and gloom announcement he decides that he will confront her to get to the bottom of this.
Back at home Tanis opens his door angrily - having to deal with these kinds of people sets him on edge but he tries to eat some of his dried meat as a temporary comfort.
