Member named 'Wayned' sent me this through Email. It is quite impressive and thought I would share it with you here. It is a watermelon, if you have not figured it out yet.

That's beautiful! And I 'll bet it's delicious too smile.gif I love watermelon. My ex-mother-in-law went on a cruise to Alaska, and all of the floral arrangements were fruits and vegetables -- and edible! But I don't remember any being sculptures ... I'll bet that's fun to do.

Wow! That is absolutely beautiful. It's amazing to me that somebody can transform some everyday object into a beautiful masterpiece that makes it hard for you to tear your eyes away from. At least in my opinion. I didn't realize it was a watermelon until I read that it was.

I didn't know what it was until I read the last part of your post. That is absolutely fantastic. I used to think the way the women at Tongan weddings carved baskets out of watermelon shells were great but this is absolutely delicious looking...yes I am a watermelon fan!

I believe watermelons are often taken for granted as a medium for which art can be created. You can also apply the same ideas to pumpkin as some do during Halloween.
