Since the October 2012 announcement that men can begin Mormon missionary service at age 18 and women at 19, the ranks of Mormon missionaries have swelled. Church Provides Additional Missionary Statistics
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released its 2013 statistical report in the Saturday, 5 April afternoon session of general conference, which includes missionary numbers.
