KeePass Password Safe is a free, open-source, light-weight and easy-to-use password manager for Windows. You can store your passwords in a highly-encrypted database, which is locked with one master key or key-disk.

Safe Password Keepass

I have used many password keeping programs and this is one of them. If I had to use something besides the built in Mozilla password manager, then I would use either Password Safe or KeePass. KeePass is actually rated higher than Password Safe, but I kept closing KeePass by accident. It didn't seem as intuitive and user friendly, but I believe there are more encryption and storage options to the KeePass. Security wise, I chose KeePass, for ease of use, Password Safe it is.

Keepass Password Safe is great. If you use it in conjunction with TrueCrypt and Portable Apps then you have great security. The latter two is to enable you to put Keepass Password Safe on a flash drive and take it with you. Something else that should not be forgotten is regular PC security.
