Karn, do you feel rested when you wake up? Dreams that you remember happen, for the most part, during REM sleep close to when you are waking up. Its not unheard of to never remember a dream. Not remembering doesn't mean you don't have them and can be perfectly normal. Source

Dreaming is normal in the human mind as our brain never shuts off. Some people remember their dreams some people do not. Others due to life experiences have strange or bad dreams. To not dream at all because of the state of being over tired is not good in the long run.
