An Israeli soldier has been captured, according to Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas' military wing.
He provided the soldier's name and ID. Israel's military said it was checking on the report.
The battle between Israel and Hamas militants in Gaza saw its deadliest day on Sunday for both sides. Eighty-seven Palestinians died, the Gaza Health Ministry said. Israel's military said 13 soldiers were killed. Ref. CNN
