Dark Decor?

Once when I was proselyting in England we came across a house where the owner had as part of the decor everything out of horror movies such as: skulls, ghost images, chains, aggressive creatures, statues with blood, etc. Now this was not cartoon or artifical. This was the real thing. Can this be seen as normal? Why would people be so fascinated with something like this?

I don't know, I find it evil....I don't understand why somebody would enjoy something like that. The brother of my grandmother went to a trip to Africa many many years ago and he brought a strange decor of something related to death within the African culture, we had it in our home for years until we decide it to get rid of it because everytime somebody used to come home they would always mention it and I thought it was pretty creepy.

You've mentioned morbid decor, however what is your opinion on say gargoyles? They may appear to fit in with the motiffe mentioned however, they are actually supposed to be guardians against evil. Thus, many ancient churches are adorned with them. . . .

Decor Dark

Once, I cut myself and let my blood drip into a glass bottle.I put it somewhere in my room,and used it for decoration.When she saw it...she freaked out.It wasn't much,and I didn't get any scars from the cuts.Also, my opinion on dark decor...it does not always mean that person is evil.I am surely not evil.I just have a high interest in dark things.Why blood as a decor you might ask? Well...it went with a poster I had behind the glass...
Plus,I was kind of doing an metaphysical experiment.Blood contains some of your energy...I wanted to try to feel over time,if there was any possible energy,or vibes from that bottle,containing my blood.

Decor Dark

I personally do no find that attidude evil, yet, it is uncomon to say the least.Dark, seems an appropiate definition.However, the definition of energy in the blood... well i dont have an strict scientific mind but blood to me is just plasma with red and white cells, nutrients etc.

Dark Decor?

The house that JB described, in my opinion can't be seen as anything but morbid. Why would anybody in their right mind actually choose to be surrounded by 'dark' displays?

Surely living around items and decoration like that permanently, must somehow transfer on to how you feel.

We knew somebody who had a carpenter make a bed for them in the shape of a black coffin, complete with lid (and airholes)
This person in my opinion was either making a great big statement, or seriously needed help!
