Why Did Christ Choose the Jews?
According to the Bible Jesus Christ chose to come among the Jews for His Ministry. The question is Why Did Christ Choose the Jews? Why did he not choose some other group of people?
Because Israel, through Abraham, knew God and was obedient to him. Other peoples were worshipping idols and didn't know God. Of course, it goes in cycles: they are obedient, they proseper, they fall away, they are chastised, they are obedient, etc. However, Israel remains the Covenant people and will be gathered in the Last Days as is prophesied.
And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had parted from him, "Raise your eyes, and from where you are now look to the north and the south and the east and the west. All the land which you see I will GIVE to you and your posterity forever. (Genesis 13:14)
And again He promised Abraham, "you shall no longer be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I will make you the FATHER OF A MULTITUDE of nations, I will make you exceedingly fruitful; I will make nations of you and kings shall descend from you. (Genesis 17:5)
God created the Jewish nation through Abraham. They were his chosen people. I can't imagine God sending his own son to heal and teach love beyond human comprehension to any other group of people.
