Isn't it funny that the teams with all the mega-star MLB players like USA, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic didn't even make the final? Instead we have the Cuban team with no MLB players and Japan with one (Ichiro). This to me indicates that team play is much more important than big name players. The teams I mentioned never really got into a rhythm together, and even teams like Korea played a lot better than everyone thought they would. Maybe this Classic will teach the US that it needs to focus on team chemistry more than getting the best players.
