If I am in the fast lane and someone comes flying up behind me then they are going to have to sit there and wait till I am done passing the person I am passing. IF they do not like it tough. I am not going to speed up just to let them get around me faster. If the wave the middle finger at me I just smile and wave because I already know I am number one.

I love letting them buy as it is the cheapest radar detection method I have. I used to slow down or try and make a point in some other fashion in years gone but seeing so many in severe accidents in my time on the 401 doing 50,000 kM a year taught me let the twit die I just desire to get home. It has paid off so many times. Nice to have a ice detector doing 140kPh in front of you and 1/4 mile ahead. I get to slow up steer and go around them doing the pinball off the guard rail. I just call 911 on drive on. Nothing I can do anyhow as 5 more are plowing in because the lead car was speeding also. Perhaps I should say driving faster then what their safety space is.

Yes during the winter months it is always nice to have a foolish person driving too fast for the conditions ahead of you to let you know where the slick spots are at. It is fun at times to see just how many times they can spin around.

Even in the good weather it is nice to have a fast driver ahead to let you know where the highway patrol is hiding at.

Sometimes these drivers who want to tail gate can be a blessing if you let them around.

I agree having grace can pay back in unlimited dividends. It is just hard to swallow the first few times letting them buy then it gets easier and more relaxing to do so in time.
