A woman in New Brunswick has placed a personal ad in a local flyer, hoping to find a mate for her lovesick parrot.

Parrot Sick Love
I am not sure if finding another parrot to mate would help their situation. I have a friend who also had a parrot, and she also developed a strong bond with my friend's father. When my friend got married, the parrot was very protective and often attacked her husband. They eventually gave the parrot to my friend's father, because the husband could not even walk around his own house. These bonds they develop are very strong, and another parrot is not necessarily the cure.
