Spam People have so many definitions of what is spam and what is not spam. Can you define spam? Suppose someone wants to offer you something that you are not interested in - is this Spam if it is a first time contact? What if you do not reply saying you are not interested - then if they contact you again is it Spam?

Define Spam - Page 2

In addition to traditional or moral ways that companies achieve your information is through all of these little scripts that run on pages in install all of these neat toolbars *Free that will make their money off of selling your information to anyone that is willing to pay for it rather than asking for a $5.00 donation for the use of the toolbar. This applies for both pop-ups and spam.

Offtopic but,
This is the most annoying part of technology that is really rather hard to control in any open environment

Dummies That Define Our Newsletters As Spam
Of recent a couple of dummies referred to our newsletters as spam. How stupid can you get? If you go to a site that tells you we send out newsletters to your Email, and you register agreeing to receive it, how can you then turn around and say it is spam? Honestly, these people I feel like slapping them across the face - they are more trouble than they are worth.

If you do not like receiving Emails then DO NOT join sites where you receive Emails! Calling it spam in this way is the WRONG definition - Spam is UNSOLICITED Email!

Man quits job, sues spammers

Daniel Balsam hates spam. Most everybody does, of course. But he has acted on his hate as few have, going far beyond simply hitting the delete button. He sues them. Ref. Source 3
