Well, it could have been worse. At least they didn't kill him. I wonder how long it was after he woke up from unconsciousness before he was rescued? During that time I suspect he must have wondered whether he was really in the ground or not. Being locked up in a coffin alive has to result in some psychological trauma.

Just be glad for him that he wasn't an uber-claustrophobe. I wouldn't want to be put in such a situation either, but good for him to have lived through it. No doubt he will have stories to tell his grandchildren in a couple of decades time.

This link is no longer accessible but I will respond to this thread anyway. These days, it does not matter if the robber finds what he is looking for since he may kill his victim anyway. I think God sent an angel to watch over this individual. He is very fortunate to be alive.
