This Flying Squad thing is a real scandal. Jack Warner was one of the first to mention bringing it back when he came into the Ministry of National Security now he is saying he doesn't know anything about it? Then you have the alleged members of the Flying Squad appearing on TV saying they have not been paid and they did 6 months of work. What is really the truth about this Flying Squad thing?

Comments: I know a lot of people may not agree with my statement but due to the general lack of respect for the law and the fact we no longer have serious consequences in place for these criminal actions our county has become lawless. What needs to be done is the government needs to re-implement the death penalty for every kind of murder, life time sentence for those caught with guns and knifes with the intent to commit or caught committing a minor crime like robbery. Recreate a incorruptible special forces squads like Boroughs Flying Squad with the power of the Prime minister to execute there duties without interference by any higher upper that these Drug Lords, Mafia and any other Gang Related Organization has in their back pocket and set them loose on them with no mercy killing who resist and arresting those who give up and you will see how quickly all these murders and criminal activities become nonexistent in a matter of months. The bottom line is this these bunch of murders, rapist, kidnappers and thieves scum bags who are committing these Haynes crimes are all afraid to die, so if they know that they will be caught and killed they will definitely think twice before doing anything far less even think about it. So the real questions is does the Prime minister have the balls to stand up and implement this regardless of what protest may come his way and truly show the people of T&T that all our lives matter especially our women and children.

Comments: Whilst I agree with almost all that is said above I am afraid that our flying squad seems to have taken to the air. And won;t be seen at work any more.
There is little hope of our politicians or members of our police hierarchy introducing the methods used by Mr Borroughs when dealing with hardened criminals here.They are too afraid of the Privy council,the Civil rights movement and Amnesty .They rather leave things as they are and live with the daily slaughter of more of our innocent citizens, than take the necessary draconian measures that are needed to put the nation back on the right track.
. Our postilions and our [alleged] corrupt senior police officers seems interested in encouraging more crime here in order to financially feather their own nests .
They are like sheep being led to the slaughter house. In reality they are the blind leading the blind The politicians are quite happy at playing politics and allowing the police full control of dealing with our crime scenario .
This is quite evident by their lack of any inspiration by the senior members of the police to support the call either the calling of a state of emergency or the restoring the death penalty in this time of crisis .The politicians continue to offer useless lip service and by the looks of what is going on, have no intentions of bowing to demands of the majority of our citizens who wants the reinstatement of the death penalty and are at presently living inf ear of their lives.
