Oliron Introduction

A large part of my wizard characters "feel" for role playing was determined by the spells I chose. Were as in 4rth edition spells are more cartoon actions, rather than mystical powers. It seems that the 4rth edition is trying to be more video game style (World of Warcraft), than a ground breaking "new" edition. Maybe it should be called Dungeons & Dragons's limited edition.

So, Ye be seeking Adventure eh? Ye be one after meh own heart. Meh mates have cut down several dragons in times past and we be always in serious need of an extra hand fer deeper darker dungeons of brilliant gold. Friend, get ready, cause we got to test yer abilities.

Here's the second one: If ye be looking to join 'The World of Medieval' (Custom Play by Post) then thou needest a minimum of 30 Constructive Posts within this here Community. Keep thy level of activity at 75% too, we be needed active adventurers here not those that sit and play with child toys. Get started, select a Board, a Topic and then share thy views until ye have yer 30 Posts under thy belt then return here and request RPGer Status.

I have been a DnD player sence the age of 12. I was the only one that I knew who played at the time. I ended up making friends threw DnD. One day at school I was reading the PHB 2nd ed. Page for page and a fellow student leaned over to see what I was reading. I let him read one page, in fear that he would make fun of me, but he ended up being my best friend for many years.

No you do not need to make a certain number of posts to join us in the AD&D section. IF you wish to make a character for that please do so. I am sure you will fit right in. I use the 3.5 rules as I did not like the looks of the 4th edition.
