Define Maturity - Page 3

Spoken language reveals how people develop and mature. Examining 44,000 brief text samples collected over 25 years, a study of ego level and language sheds light on ego development, its relationship with other models of personality and individual differences, and its utility in characterizing people, texts and cultural contexts. If ego development can be scored from everyday language, then text from Twitter feeds to political speeches, and from children's stories to strategic plans, may provide new insights into the state of moral, social and cognitive development. Maturity Define

1. For me, a mature person is someone who thinks very broadly and deeply. Thinking about the consequences before an action, seeing every aspect of an argument, looking at different perspectives… Experiences can also make a person mature.

2. The first thing to do is to define the word 'mature'. Even a young person can be mature, who has not yet had much experience but may be thinking a lot.
Older people become more mature through experience in certain aspects of life, but may not see everything from the perspective that younger people do (The other way around, of course).

3. A mature person probably wouldn't go all out saying they're 'mature'... But of course that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be proud of seeing yourself as mature!

Define Maturity Health & Special Psychology

Emotionally maturing means evolving and being autonomous on a personal level without this meaning moving away from the world. On the contrary, the mature person has the ability to self-regulate and adapt to the environment in a healthy way.
