A Radio Frequency Identifier allows someone to track a thing or person. It is a very small chip that can be inserted under the skin or attached to something. Then the person with a tracking device can know your location at any given time.

The question here is:

[b]Would you agree that criminals and even parolees should have this inserted into their skin? What about in the use of investigation to prove something in a future trial?

It all depends on how much additional cost these identifiers would bring to everyday taxpayers. If the cost is minimal, then yes, I believe it should be used, especially in sex offenders and predators. There have been so many cases where sexual predators are released and they repeat criminal activities and then are very difficult to track and find.
Being able to track down those who have been found guilty of a crime, and have subsequently been released back into society will help curb future crimes, in my opinion.

Brandon I am somewhat torn thinking about this question for two major arguments.

1. Yes it would be good to have RFI tracking if you needed to find someone suspected of a crime.

2. However, if we only tag "criminal" because we believe they are going to do something wrong again then why are we letting them run free to do so? It really seems like a lot of effort just to give someone the opportunity to mess up again before paying the consequences.


*now with that being said, if EVERYONE were one day required to have this chip implanted so that their location could be discovered or tracked in an emergency I might could feel differently. Crime rates would have to drop significantly in this situation because a person's proximity to a crime could be recorded and tracked back to prove them guilty.

*Now with all of that said, who is going to consider this the mark of the beast?
