'MCCLOUD' STAR DEAD AT 81
Dennis Weaver, the slow-witted deputy Chester Goode in the TV classic western
"Gunsmoke" and the New Mexico deputy solving New York crime in "McCloud," has
died. The actor was 81.

It was sad to hear that he had died. I thought he was a very good actor, especially in McCloud. Of course, at that age, I guess sometimes the body finally gives out.
While I don't know anything about his personal life, he always seemed to be a very decent man, and he always appeared to play honorable characters.
