LDS
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
RLDS
The Church of Jesus Christ of Reformed Latter-Day Saints
What are the main doctrinal differences that separate these two groups?
How did this separation take place?
The christian church has a long history of disagreements and separations. Protestants came from Catholics. Several sects stayed close to Catholics beliefs and practises while many went further away from it. While most protestants know of the reformation and the many subsequent groups that became of it, most do not know of the difference between LDS and RLDS, or how they became to be two separate groups.
Konquererz, that is a very good question, but we want to keep this Board for just questions about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, you will find the topic on the Community of Christ here: Community of Christ.
