Kit Introduction

Hello, I am a middle aged male whom lives in the southwest part of the United States. I have been a member of the LDS Church for about 31 years, but have been inactive more than half of that time.

This is the reason that I am interested in this forum. I wish to remind myself of the church docturnes and become more comfortable with my knowledge.

I am married and all my children are grown and out of the house. I work for the Sheriff's office and enjoy outdoors, reading and TV.

I am a Elder and hope to soon be a High Priest, however I have a lot of maturing to go before I can hope to be worthy.

I look forward to meeting people on this forum and hope to establish a friendship and guidance that will help me grow as well as help others with what little I know.

Thank You for these heart warming responces.

This web site is very large and I'm spending a lot of time just walking through it.
The range of topics is overwhelming and I enjoy the wide and diversity field of knowledge that is available.

A lot of responces are how I feel and I don't feel comfortable responding with I agree with everything everyone else has said.

Am I allowed to just agree with responders and not add to the discussion?

Kit, I just deleted your message on Gemfire intro thread. I do not understand the reason to be offended just because Persephone indicated something you needed to do. If you feel you cannot be told anything or you're easily offended, then may be this is not the place for you. There is a thread that deals with the issue of being offended in the community:
