More Vivid Dreams
Is there something a human can do to induce More Vivid Dreams? For instance some humans believe that by eating very heavy before sleeping causes a higher possibility of REM 5 and lucid dreams. Is there anything you do in particular to help you have More Vivid Dreams?
I wouldn't recommend intentionally trying anything that would make dreams more vivid/lucid, I have seen the effects first hand of eating foods late at night that react into dreams.
My husband several years ago ate some blue cheese dips late at night, the food reacted so badly that he ended up having night terrors.
During the night terror, he was convinced that he was being chased by crabs and he was trying to escape from them.
I was awoken to find him standing on the bed over me, it frightened me and I screamed, he screamed, and I can only describe that in 3 minutes, he had bounced off every wall in the bedroom, pulled the bed canopy down, (I had plaster all over the bed from this) ripped the wardrobe doors off, and then had climbed inside the wardrobe for sanctuary.-----and NO, he isn't mad, bad, or anything like that, he genuinely doesn't remember anything of the event until I managed to wake him up in the wardrobe. He had broken both of his thumbs, four fingers, and his wrist in the process,and ended up with both arms in slings.
The hospital ran tests, and concurred that all of this had resulted in him eating the "wrong" foods too late at night. So anybody that is thinking of trying different foods to try to enhance a more vivid dream, I would suggest they look at all the possible scenarios,I certainly wouldn't suggest they try it.
