For a procedure that is purely cosmetic it seems like such a risk (They cut and insert artificial material into your eye) but I'm sure Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will like to do this if she hasn't done it already.

Actually, is an intraocular implant that is placed in the anterior chamber of the eye and is used mostly for medical reasons such as albinism or coloboma and I supposed they extend it to cosmetic reasons. Of course, you are changing the appearance of the iris. I suppose I am not that concerned over the operation itself that last a few minutes per eye, I mean no more concerned than the risk of doing laser surgery.

What I am more concerned (Besides the price) is the study of the long time side effects of this operation but it's reversible.

Exactly. Even Lasik surgery, which corrects vision is similar to this procedure, has drawbacks such as hallows that appear around vision at night, infections, etc. Therefore I see similar happenings with this one.

Amber as a color? You would look like a freak with that. The other thing is suppose you did not want it in anymore, how difficult will it be to take it out especially if your eye sort of merged itself with the material.

I watched the first video and the thing is: It's like having one of those surgeries where they implant permanent contact lenses (Which they exist, a friend of mine got one). What's the difference really then and why such a risk when both do almost the same?

The second video is different. First, because all doctors agree the procedure is extremely dangerous and you are doing laser and playing up with the whole cornea.
