God even controlled when the fruit of a young tree was to be eaten, and when it was old enough, He told the Jews, "It's sacred. Give it to Me."

QUOTE
For three years, while its fruit remains uncircumcised, it may not be eaten. In the fourth year, however, all its fruit shall be sacred to the Lord as a thanksgiving feast to him. (Leviticus 19:23)

God not only insisted on having the first and the best of everything to eat, He also was adamant about who brought his food to him. The person serving food to God had to be perfect in every way, no sickness or blemish of any kind.
QUOTE
"The priest shall not make bare the crown of the head, nor lacerate the body. To their God they shall be sacred, and not profane his name; since they offer up the oblations of the Lord, the FOOD OF THEIR GOD, they must be holy." (Leviticus 21:5)

Again, when He used the phrase, ... "FOOD OF THEIR GOD," it left no doubt who the food was intended for.
In the next verse we get a peek at the abnormalities and diseases that God was afraid of 4000 years ago. This God that created the universe, the earth, and man, did not even pretend to heal any of these afflictions. His answer to these diseases and abnormalities was, no one with a problem may get near me, or, get outside the
camp until you"re well.
QUOTE
"Speak to Aaron and tell him: None of your descendants, of whatever generation, who has any defect shall come forward to offer up the food of his God. Therefore, he who has any of the following defects may not come forward: he who is blind, or lame, or who has any disfigurement or malformation, or a crippled foot or hand, or who is hump-backed or weakly or walleyed, or who is afflicted with eczema, ringworm or hernia. No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any such defect may draw near to offer up the oblations of the Lord; on account of his defect he may not draw near to offer up the food of his God." (Leviticus 21:17)

And the punishment for a person getting too close to God's food while unclean,

QUOTE
"Such a one shall be cut off from my presence. I am the Lord." (Leviticus 22:3)

The specific instructions on the preperation and serving of fruit of the field pale in comparison to the instructions on the preparation of animals for God's table. First, there is a difference in the quality allowed for votive and free-will offerings versus just a free-will offering. If it is brought as a holocaust votive, or free will offering,
QUOTE
... the ox or sheep or goat that he offers must be an unblemished male. You shall not offer one that has any defect, for such a one would not be acceptable for you. One that is blind or crippled or maimed, or one that has a running sore or mange or ringworm, you shall not offer to the Lord; do not put such an animal on the alter as an oblation to the Lord.

HOWEVER, if the offering is only a free-will you can use animals that are not perfect. The animal can be ill-proportioned or stunted, but if it's ...
QUOTE
One that has its testicles bruised or crushed or torn out or cut off you shall not offer to the Lord. (Leviticus 22:18)

At this point I began to wonder who is eating all this food. One tenth of an epha equals about one tenth of a bushel, or a loaf of bread about 6"X6"X6". The order is for two of these and,
QUOTE
"Besides the bread, you shall offer to the Lord a holocaust of seven unblemished yearling lambs, one young bull, and two rams, along with their cereal offering and libations. (Leviticus 23:17)

That's two loaves, seven lambs, one bull, two rams, and their cereal offerings and drinks. Since they didn't have refrigeration in those days, all this had to be eaten at one sitting. How many angels were sitting at God's table to be able to consume all this food immediately?

Here we have a new reason for the offering, the ritual for the
Nazarite,
but the menu changes very little.

QUOTE
One unblemished yearling lamb, one unblemished yearling ewe lamb, one unblemished ram, cereal offerings and libations, and unleavened wafers spread with oil. (Numbers 15:2)

How many people would have to sit at your table to put most of this food away? Again, where was it going? And what did He do with ...a whole ox, cereal offering mixed with oil, and a libation of half a hin of wine? Now the numbers get really out of hand. Remember, there are 603,550 men of fighting age in the Israelite camp. How many oxen, loaves of bread, and hins of wine, are brought in each day, not
to mention the bread and wine brought in with each ram, lamb or goat? Staying true to form, God ordered loaves of bread from the first batch of dough, from the first harvest in the new land. He didn't miss out on anything new or fresh. And when you ...
QUOTE
begin to eat of the food of that land, you shall offer the Lord a contribution consisting of a cake of your first batch of dough. Throughout your generations you shall give a contribution to the Lord from your first batch of dough. (Numbers 15:17)

As if all the other reasons given by God for sacrifice were not enough, the Jews now had another reason to slaughter bulls and he-goats and bring cereal and wine to their God. He called it inadvertence.
QUOTE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
in-ad-ver-tence 1: the fact or action of being inadvertent :
INATTENTION 2: a result of inattention: OVERSIGHT
Webster's Dictionary
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds like an easy way for God to get an unexpected meal. If he had company just, drop in, he could say the Jews had forgotten something, and order one young bull, one he goat, cereal, and wine.
QUOTE
If the community itself unwittingly becomes guilty of the fault of inadvertence, the whole community shall offer the holocaust of one young bull as a sweet-smelling oblation pleasing to the Lord, along with its prescribed cereal offering and libation, as well as one hegoat as a sin offering. (Numbers 15:24)

Now things were falling into place and everything was going so well that God decided to share the bounty.

QUOTE
The Lord said to Aaron, "I myself have given you charge of the contributions made to me in the various sacred offerings of the Israelites; by perpetual ordinance I have assigned them to you and to your sons as your priestly share. (Numbers 18:8)

God had General, Morning, Evening, Sabbath, New-Moon Feast, Passover, and Pentecost sacrifices. In each sacrifice, specific instruction was given. His standing order was, no blemished animal was ever to be sacrificed! And then came the numbers: so many young bulls, this many lambs, a given number of rams. Oh! and
throw in a goat for a sin offering. Then came the very exact recipes for cooked cereal with olive oil and how many hins of wine to go with each animal. But New Years Day the sacrifice was increased so as to be almost unbelievable. I have done a considerable amount of editing here to eliminate information unnecessary in proving my point. In case you choose not to read such repetition as the New
Years menu, I have summarized the numbers for you. And if you wonder what was edited out, once again, feel free to read the whole passage in your Bible.

Remember, one tenth of an epha equals about one tenth of a bushel of fine flour, or a loaf of bread about 6"X6"X6". I also found in Webster's Dictionary that the amount of wine in the ancient Hebrew hin equals one and one half gallons. So if you just add all the numbers given in the book of (Numbers, chapter 29) then add all the oblations and libations expected with each animal, you"ll find that God threw quite a New Years party. For the celebration alone, God ordered 73 bullocks, 17 rams, 119 lambs, 10 goats, 377 loaves of bread, and 108 ½ gallons of wine. And with each order He reminded the Jews that all this is ...
QUOTE
in ADDITION to the established holocaust with its cereal offering, together with the libations prescribed for them.

On New Years Day
QUOTE
On the first day of the seventh month you shall offer as a sweetsmelling holocaust to the Lord one bullock, one ram, and seven unblemished yearling lambs, with their cereal offerings of fine flour mixed with oil; offering three tenths of an epha for the bullock, two tenths for the ram, and one tenth for each of the seven lambs. Moreover, one goat shall be offered as a sin offering in atonement for yourselves. These are to be offered in addition to the ordinary new moon holocaust with its cereal offering, and in addition to the established holocaust with its cereal offering, together with the libations prescribed for them. (Numbers 29:1)

This type of New Years offering goes on and on, from the second to the fifteenth day of the celebrating. It runs from Numbers 29:7 to 29:35 adding up to the staggering numbers I have given.

As I have previously proven, God was very specific about what He was fed, how it was prepared, how He was fed, and who could bring Him his food. I still wonder, even after He started sharing with the priests, where did all this food go? It was obviously ordered to please the particular tastes of one entity, but the volume that was delivered would have fed a small army. Let's do a little guessing. We know God had sons, and they had wives, and they had children. We know there were multitudes of angels, and oh yes, ...
QUOTE
I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the ARMY OF HEAVEN standing by him on the right hand and on the left; (3 Kings 22:19)

So angels, and sons, and relatives and the army could easily have put away ...
QUOTE
one bullock, one ram, and seven unblemished yearling lambs, with their cereal offerings of fine flour mixed with oil; offering three tenths of an epha for the bullock, two tenths for the ram, and one tenth for each of the seven lambs. Moreover, one goat!

MEDICAL
Very early in the Bible there is a description of the first surgery.

QUOTE
The Lord cast man into a deep sleep and, while he slept, took
one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. (Genesis 2:21)

I intend to show the God that "performed" this surgery knew nothing about the human body. He never once healed a person of a minor, or a major ailment, although He did claim to be their healer. He told them very plainly,
QUOTE
"I will not afflict you with any of the diseases with which I afflicted the Egyptians; for I, THE LORD AM YOUR HEALER." (Exodus 15:26)

The God of the Jews knew nothing about the human reproductive process, except that putting a male, and female in close proximity caused children. The next passage is long, but every word on every line is important in showing God's idea that something different happens to a womans body when she delivers a girl instead of a boy child. Delivering a girl child causes her to be "unclean" twice as long as for a boy child.
QUOTE
The Lord said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites: When a woman has conceived and gives birth to a BOY, she shall be UNCLEAN FOR SEVEN DAYS, with the same uncleanness as her menstrual period. On the eighth day, the flesh of the boy's fore-skin shall be circumcised, and then she shall spend THIRTY-THREE days more in BECOMING PURIFIED of her blood; she shall not touch anything sacred nor enter the sanctuary till the days of her purification are fulfilled.

QUOTE
If she gives birth to a GIRL, for FOURTEEN DAYS she SHALL BE AS UNCLEAN as at her menstruation, after which she shall spend SIXTY-SIX days in BECOMING PURIFIED of her blood. When the days of her purification for a son or a daughter are fulfilled, she shall bring to the priest at the entrance of the Meeting Tent a yearling lamb for a holocaust and a pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering. The priest shall offer them up before the Lord to make ATONEMENT for her, and thus she will be clean again after her flow of blood. Such is the law for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl child. (Leviticus 12:1)

QUOTE
atone 1: RECONCILE 2: to MAKE AMENDS 3: reparation for an OFFENSE or injury  Webster's Dictionary

Passing blood at childbirth is a sin that is offensive to God. So each new mother has to go to the priest and make amends for her offense. I can see this in my mind's eye. The woman bows to the ground. The priest says, "You delivered a child? Boy or girl? That will be one lamb and one turtle dove or pigeon. Next!"
After becoming clean, the woman still had to take a sin offering to the priest. Was the 'sin" to have a child, or was the 'sin" really just because God had a blood fetish?

Mousetrails - The First Holy War

All Bible quotes are from the Douay-Catholic Bible

The next passage is a bit long, but every word is necessary to understand the lack of medical knowledge demonstrated by Israel's God. Notice that the leper had not been allowed to live in the same camp with God. The priest had to go outside the camp for the examination.

QUOTE
The Lord said to Moses,"This is the law for the victim of leprosy at the time of his purification. He shall be brought to the priest, who is to go outside the camp to examine him. If the priest finds that the sore of leprosy has healed in the leper, he shall order the man who is to be purified, to get two live, clean birds, as well as some cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop. The priest shall then order him to slay one of the birds over an earthen vessel with spring water in it. Taking the living bird with the cedar wood, the scarlet yarn and the hyssop, the priest shall dip them all in the blood of the bird that was slain over the spring water, and then sprinkle seven times the man to be purified from his leprosy. When he has thus purified him, he shall let the living bird fly away over the countryside. (Leviticus 14:1)

Birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn, hyssop, spring water and bird blood to be used only after the leprosy has healed itself? The God of the Jews knew absolutely nothing about medicine or the healing of the human body He "created."

Once again Israel is not told what to do about an affliction. God only tells them what to do after a man becomes "free" of his affliction. And again, I cannot paraphrase to shorten the next passage without losing some of the meaning.
QUOTE
"When a man who has been afflicted with a flow becomes free of his affliction, he shall wait seven days for his purification. Then he shall wash his garments and bathe his body in fresh water, and so he will be clean. (Leviticus
15:13)

Then he waited eight days, and with turtle doves in hand, he went to the priest to make atonement ( apologize ) for his offense of being sick!

Again, Israel had nothing that even resembled medical knowledge. God's answer was that it was a sin to be sick, so all these measures must take place after the flow had stopped on its own. Again, I believe this whole passage must be read to show the complete medical ignorance of a God so obsessed with blood.

QUOTE
When a woman is afflicted with a flow of blood for several days out-side her menstrual period, or when her flow continues beyond the ordinary period, as long as she suffers this unclean flow she shall be unclean, just as during her menstrual period. Any bed on which she lies during such a flow becomes unclean, as it would during her menstruation, and any article of furniture on which she sits becomes unclean just as during her menstruation. Anyone who touches them becomes unclean; he shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. If she becomes freed from her affliction, she shall wait seven days, and only then is she to be purified. (Leviticus 15:25)

IF she becomes freed? When the female flows past her time it is called hemorrhaging. Something is medically wrong that could, and often does, cause death. But the God that "created" this body told her to go to her tent because she was unclean? Again the God of the Jews knew NOTHING about the human body! No matter, eight days and two turtle doves to the priest for her sin, and she"ll
be right as rain! With over three million people forming the tribes of Israel, there
was bound to be a lot of sickness. But it didn't end there. If you touched a dead person, God treated you like you were sick. His answer to sickness or touching a corpse was to get away from Him. Go outside the camp and not come near Him!
QUOTE
The Lord said to Moses: "Order the Israelites to expel from camp every leper, and everyone suffering from a discharge, and everyone who has become unclean by contact with a corpse. Male and female alike, you shall compel them to go out of the camp; THEY ARE NOT TO DEFILE THE CAMP IN WHICH I DWELL"
(Numbers 5:1)

The healer of (Exodus 15:26) didn't bother to heal, He just had anyone with a problem expelled from camp.

Mousetrails The Holy War The Bible Revealed - Page 12

All Bible quotes are from the Douay-Catholic Bible

Next we are given God's recipe for what he thought was a cleansing solution. He called it lustral water, and ordered its use for several different situations. Please bear with me. This is long, but the process and ingredients are important.

QUOTE
"Tell the Israelites to procure for you a red heifer that is free from every blemish and defect and on which no yoke has ever been laid. This is to be given to Eleazar the priest, to be led outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. Eleazer the priest shall take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the Meeting Tent. Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight, with its hide and flesh, its blood and offal; and the priest shall take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet yarn and throw them into the fire in which the heifer is being burned. The priest shall then wash his garments and bathe his body in water. He remains unclean until evening, and only afterward may he return to camp. Likewise, he who burned the heifer shall wash his garments, bathe his body in water, and be unclean until evening. Finally, a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and deposit them in a clean place outside the camp. There they are to be kept for preparing lustral water for the Israelite community. The Heifer is a sin offering. He who has gathered up the ashes of the heifer shall also wash his garments and be unclean until evening. This is a perpetual ordinance, both for the Israelites and for the aliens residing among them. (Numbers 19:2)

Let's ignore all the other instructions, like which way to sprinkle the blood, and who is unclean. Let's concentrate on just the ingredients for lustral water. First is a demand for a perfect red heifer that has never been worked. When the burning process is complete, you have the burned ashes of hide, flesh, blood, offal, (intestines and all they contain ) cedar wood, hyssop, ( a mint with pungent leaves ) and scarlet yarn. And the use of these ashes? We"re going to make
lustral water by pouring spring water over these ashes. Then we"re going to splash this water on anyone that touches a dead person, or on the tent, vessels, and people, that were present when someone died. Or maybe you touched a slain person, or a grave. No matter. You have to be splashed with the water poured from a container of filthy ashes to make you clean!
