Truth About US Foreclosures
Is it true that most North Americans are not frugal enough to actually take out a mortgage that they can pay?
I grew up in a family home already bought by my parents so I don't know what its like to move out or have your home foreclosed, so maybe I'm not the best judge but I want to add 2 cents. If you are going to buy a home then you need to have a few months mortgage payments available in advance for times when something happens. If you have like 6 months of payments covered then if you get in an accident or lose your job you know you don't have to immediately face the mortgage company.

This is the reality of a lot of Americans and I don't see any big change in the way mortgage companies do business after the last housing bubble popped some years ago.
