Afghanistan: 26 Taliban killed, 34 injured in Daykundi clashes:
26 Taliban militants killed in DaykundiAccording to local authorities in Daykundi province of Afghanistan, at least 26 Taliban militants were killed and 34 others were injured following clashes with the Afghan security forces. Ref. Source 1
Afghanistan: 28 Insurgents Killed in Raids:
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement on Sunday said 28 Taliban militants were killed in several coordinated operations conducted by Afghan and coalitions forces around the country. Ref. Source 2
37 Taliban militants killed, 5 others injured in Afghan operations:
The operations were jointly conducted by Afghan police, Afghan army and Afghan intelligence in Kabul, Nangarahr, Parwan, Kunduz, SAr-e-Pul, Zabul, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Farah and Helmand provinces of Afghanistan, the interior ministry said. Ref. Source 5
Whether its between the tribes and the Taliban, the former Soviet Union or even us the Afghans have been seeing war all their lives and that's not likely to change anytime soon.
