It's been 20 years since Bulgaria had any violent Civil unrests or protests that can pose as a serious threat to the stability of the country. In 1997 there was a big raid of the parliament HQ as an ultimatum for the socialist cabinet to resign, during all of this there was a financial crisis that forced spiked prices from time to time.
