Elijah Cummings

Elijah Cummings, longtime Maryland congressman, has died at 68, multiple media outlets report. Cummings, chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, died early Thursday at Johns Hopkins Hospital due to complications from longstanding health challenges, his congressional office said, according to the Baltimore Sun and Associated Press.
