4 dead, over 50 arrested after pro-Trump rioters breached US Capitol, authorities say. D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said Wednesday night that the chaotic day included four fatalities: a woman who was shot by the U.S. Capitol Police, as well as three others — two men and one woman — who died in "Separate medical emergencies." House passes 25th Amendment resolution urging the removal of President Trump from office, but Vice President Pence won’t invoke it. One Republican, Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, joined all Democrats in voting 223-205 to pass the largely symbolic measure late Tuesday.
