Thanks LDS! I had to search around but I'm glad I figured out the Avatars... so, there goes anonymity I promise to look up a good photo of him and invite him to join the community, all in good time!

Meanwhile, I've been looking up Irish wedding traditions, to see what to include... we've decided on April 2008 for our wedding, which gives us quite enough time to sort out every detail before the big day!

Wow, that is a very long ways away, can you really wait that long?

It will be good when he joins because you will be our new love birds in the Community. The last two were Bwren and Cwhahesh(?), but they have since married. We also have some Threads about Ireland that he could probably tackle.

Sure you're ready for another pair of lovebirds? I've asked him to join and he's already registered... so another newbie is on the way!

As for waiting... JB, I've been praying for God to send the right man for me at the right time, since I was 8 years old... so I think I can be patient a bit longer, if that's what it takes to be sure our families will accept it. Right now, they're understandably in a state of shock!

The way I see it, since one or other of us will have to relocate, it's important that our families have time to understand what's going on and get to know the new member who'll be joining the clan! I know I don't want him (or myself for that matter) to feel like an outsider in the other's family, when we're married.

I saw that he joined (Belfastbloke), and I must thank you for sending the invitation. I should also mention that if you know of other Discussion rich Trinis such as yourself, please do invite them as it is a very hard find.

With regards to your families I totally understand. My wife and I had to go through those problems, but in the end I can tell you is what you both want that counts the most. I hope it all works. We have a lot of what we recently went through with in-laws in our Blogs in the Member Blogs section.

Now, regards to the wedding on 2008...I can be pretty sure that this wedding is going to take place long before that .*smile*

I think that LDS is right, your wedding will probably happen a long time before 2008, it sounds like you're a very patient person, but love has a way of bringing things to happen quicker!
