Driving Egypt

Driving in Egypt is dangerous. I was once in a cab and we were in a long line of traffic on a two lane highway. I heard the cabbie say, "Insha Allah, which means God's will, and then move into the incoming traffic lane that he couldn't see down. In other word's, he was saying if there was a vehicle coming from the other direction and we had a head on collision it would be the will of God that we were to die that day. He gunned it and we barely beat a bus barreling down the other way with its lights flashing into an opening in our lane. Yes, that is not the exception but the norm.
