Decomposing Body
How long does it take a Decomposing Body to become just a skeleton after burial in a coffin six feet under ground? Does burying a body without a coffin speed up the process? Why is six feet used as a depth for burial?

Body Decomposing
Because of the hit TV show Six Feet Under, any information on this subject is hard to google. I did manage to find a bit of information.

The interesting think is I cannot seem to find any information telling me how long it takes a body to decompose. There are obviously different factors involved, that is why some bodies get mummified and never decompose to the bone. However, there has been a proposed study to find out how long it takes for a body to decompose.
