Home Inspection

When was the last time you had a Home Inspection for your house? Did it reveal any concerns?

Inspection Home

I had a home inspection done on my house last year when I was going through the buying process. A number of concerns were raised regaurding loose edging on the exterior of the house as well as a number of small leaks that had once had buckets in the attic to catch them. They were nothing that was currently leaking however the water damage potential that may had been done previously was a very large concern..

Offtopic but,
If you purchase a house without a home inspection you are a complete fool. Having a professional look things over is the only real way to go, no matter how much of a do it yourselfer you may be.

Home Inspection History & Civil Business Politics

I had a home inspection done, by suggestion from my real estate agent. I always thought they were required by the lender, but found out they weren't. My inspection passed with flying colors, only validating that I had really found a gem of a house. The inspector gave us the details of the inspection and I also asked what big items he felt would need attention the soonest, etc. It really is a good way of getting to know your new home better.
